The Company
Established over 50 years ago our clients are a leader in industrial protective coatings and repair composites, have gained incomparable success by acknowledging the need to provide not only technologically advanced products, but also to present uncompromised service to their customers, due to increased expansion plans over the coming 12 months they are now looking to recruit a technical services engineer.
The Role
To provide a technical enquiry service for our clients field sales engineers, distribution and consultants including:- Organising, monitoring and reporting on trials of trial products, recommending modifications to existing products from information attained from field sales engineers. Identification and recording of valuable technical and marketing information concerning new product development opportunities. Provision of support in key industries to enhance the commercial activities of sales engineers. Conducting in-plant seminars/technical presentations and provision of technical support at promotional events. Provision of a troubleshooting service Determination of cost comparisons between applications and conventional repair solutions.
This is an exciting time for our client, who are looking forward to the coming months and the growth they are experiencing. This role will involve around 40% UK and overseas travel, including China, Thailand and Miami,
Hours & Days:
Monday-Friday 8.45am-5.15pm
About You:
The ideal candidate for this role will be educated to degree level in mechanical, chemical, marine or offshore engineering, with drive and ambition to play your part in a key role in supporting the international markets. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, allowing you to develop successful relationships with colleagues and customers. Other attributes that may be beneficial include fluency in German or other European languages, specialist knowledge of the oil and gas industry or an understanding of lubrication technology
